AMI x BIC at COMPUTEX/INNOVEX 2025: Rethinking Hybrid Meetings from Taipei
Clichy, France - May 24, 2025
The Advanced Magnetic Interaction (AMI) team has just returned from COMPUTEX/INNOVEX 2025, held from May 20–23 in Taipei, and the experience was nothing short of inspiring.
As part of the Business France Pavilion, AMI proudly joined forces with BIC, the iconic brand known worldwide for its writing instruments, to present two groundbreaking product concepts designed to transform how we meet, collaborate, and create in the hybrid work era.
A Global Stage for Future-Driven Innovation
Recognized as one of the world’s largest technology events, COMPUTEX and its innovation-focused platform INNOVEX gathered more than 1,500 exhibitors and tens of thousands of visitors from around the world.
This year’s edition shone a spotlight on AI integration, smart workspaces, sustainable tech, and the convergence of hardware and software — themes that perfectly aligned with AMI’s vision of intuitive, magnetic, and human-centered interaction.
Amid the energy of Taipei’s Fira, the AMI x BIC booth (S0116) became a space where curiosity met creativity. Visitors, innovators, and partners stopped by to discover a new way of thinking about interaction — one that bridges analog gestures with digital intelligence.
Introducing New Concepts for Hybrid Work
During the four-day exhibition, AMI and BIC unveiled two exclusive proofs of concept, developed to boost productivity and engagement in hybrid meeting environments:
Electronics-free input devices: intuitive, familiar, and built to capture ideas seamlessly.
A first-of-its-kind Digital Dry-Erase Whiteboard: bringing the freedom of analog creativity directly into digital collaboration spaces.
These prototypes merge AMI’s magnetic sensing technology with BIC’s iconic writing expertise, illustrating how the simplicity of handwriting can meet the sophistication of digital innovation — without friction or compromise.
The booth attracted a continuous flow of visitors — from tech journalists and educators to system integrators and workspace designers — all eager to test, draw, and experience how physical interaction could reshape digital communication.

A Human-Centered Approach to Technology
Throughout the event, one theme kept resurfacing: the importance of human touch in a digital world.
While many exhibitors showcased high-performance computing or AI-driven solutions, AMI x BIC stood out by focusing on natural, gesture-based interaction — technology that feels as intuitive as picking up a pen.
“People immediately connected with it,” said T. Jobert, CXO at AMI. “They weren’t just watching a demo — they were drawing, writing, and realizing how easily analog tools can live in digital environments. That’s the future we’re building toward.”
Proudly Representing French Innovation
Being part of the Business France Pavilion gave AMI the opportunity to stand alongside other French innovators pushing the boundaries of design, hardware, and user experience.
Together, they showcased a snapshot of what makes French Tech so dynamic: creativity, collaboration, and a deep respect for human-centered innovation.
What’s Next
As COMPUTEX/INNOVEX 2025 closes its doors, AMI leaves Taipei with a renewed sense of purpose and momentum.
These first product concepts are only the beginning of a broader exploration into how magnetic interaction technologies can shape the future of hybrid work, education, and creativity.
At AMI, we believe in technology that connects — people, spaces, and ideas — through interaction that feels natural, effortless, and human.
